We finally opened our doors to the public on Friday June 24th to no fanfare whatsoever. There was no announcement or planning, no grand opening party, and TV and newspapers were a total no-show. Were we disappointed? Hell, no! We had a great day and were extremely busy from the first minute onward. Neither of us had a break and lunch was grabbed on-the-go. Opening on a Friday was deliberate to give ourselves a ‘test-run’ and then have Saturday and Sunday off to go review, revise and re-group before opening again on Monday.

Everything worked great – there were no setbacks or failures, so we’re officially up and running! Thanks to all those that came by and tried our drinks and cakes. We hope to see you in BEAN & GONE again soon!
